Old Favourites

Hey! Hope you’re all well out there in the Blog’O’sphere! Just a quick post really, more to come soon, I cross my heart! I went to a Brighton Rumble gig on Monday night & it was really worth the outing. It was for a band called Los Rizlaz, they were over here for the Hot Rod Hayride & were booked to also come play in Brighton. I hadn’t really heard much of their sound but I think it’s important to go & see bands that rarely tour as you never know if you will ever get to see them live! They were absolutely amazing in their Mexican Wrestler masks! They play raucous rock & roll covers aswell as instrumentals..and I wasn’t dissapointed!

I managed to get a few snaps of my outfit, nothin’ special but something comfy & included a few of my ‘old favourites’

Vintage Vessel Blog Brighton style

Top from Johnny & June Vintage Fair in Shoreham By Sea (£5!!)

Skirt from American Apparel

(slightly pricey but worth every penny in my opinion as I wear them to death, length is perfect & quality is great)

Shoes are 1940s repro wedgies from Rocket Originals

(the most comfortable shoes I own & I nabbed them in their sale for £45 as they are usally £69+)

Bag is a gift from my lovely friend Kelly & I have used it so much this summer!

Vintage Vessel Blog Brighton styleI have also been trying out a few different hair styles. I usually roll my fringe forward but recently I have been playing with more of a 1940s look with the front section of hair ratted ontop..I quite like it! I am also wearing MACs ‘Girl About Town’ fushia shade of lipstick as an alternative to my usual ‘Russian Red’ but I won’t lie – when ever I wear a different lip colour I always miss my red!

Have you been trying out any different Do’s over the summer?

Love VV xxx

  1. Love the cute outfit! I’ve seen that skirt on the American Apparel website so many times but it never looked that good in their photos but it looks really nice on you! And I see its on sale now, might be time to buy it after all 🙂
